Mary Krost, a Registered Physical Therapist, Registered Occupational Therapist and the principal consultant of Mary Krost & Associates, has extensive experience in developing and delivering customized ergonomic training aimed at preventing on-the-job musculoskeletal injuries.

In 2004 Mary 's video taped program was the recipient of the California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Film Festival Award, Best In Category, Professional Training.

Since 1986, Mary and her staff have conducted thousands of injury prevention seminars, training employees of major corporations and government agencies. For many clients, too, Mary has conducted on site hazardous analysis and coaching.

Mary's training and consulting programs emphasize anatomy and body mechanics ergonomic principles customized to specific work environments.

Mary received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy as well as certification as a Registered Physical Therapist (RPT) from the University of California Medical Center in San Francisco. Her approach to injury prevention has been influenced by training she received from renowned Professor Donald Chaffin at the University of Michigan Center for Ergonomics.

Mary Krost & Associates adheres to the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health Work Practice Guideline Manual.

Mary holds memberships in professional organizations including: American Society of Safety Engineers, Human Factors Society, American Physical Therapy Association, American Occupational Therapy Association, and California Water Environmental Association.
